2005- prints on paper - 40x30 cm

I designed this sequence of boards while I was putting on trial a new digital design software, able to accurately simulate the effects and the materials of traditional drawing (such as chalk, charcoal, pencil, oil painting). While I was testing the various software applications I created a woof of signs that diverged from one to another in quality, lying upon each other. Sometimes the signs take a specific direction (from where the title “streams” comes from), but generally speaking the result until now continues to attract my attention for its power of a magma of dancing signs, alive and deep.

The great flexibility that computer offers and the possibility of enlarging the design up to its fundamental particles have given me the possibility to work at an incredible speed at a state of full improvisation.
